Springwell has many generous supporters - we would like to thank the folllowing for their recent, generous donations:
Helen Barker Dance School - they have donated £1205 from a recent Dance Show. This money will be used to fund costumes and props etc. for our participation in the 'Rock Challenge' and also for further playground equipment.
Marks & Spencer West Quay, who sent a donation of £500 - this will be used to buy further equipment for the Saturday Fun Club

PARENT BASE
Our next project is to build a 'Parent Base' - a separate building which could be used as a Resource Centre, Training Room, Meeting Room etc. to support our work with parents. Southampton City Council architects' are currently undertaking a feasibility study on our behalf. Once this study has been completed, we will be launching a new fundraising campaign.

We are delighted to announce that 16 local 'Co-op' Stores are going to dedicate money raised from their fundraising activities during the whole of 2010 to our Parent Base Fund! This is wonderful news, as once built, the Parent Base will need equipment, furniture, resources etc. We are very grateful to the Co-op and would ask all Springwell staff, parents,governors and their friends and family to support their efforts!
